Electronic Muscle Strength

Objectively measures for muscle weakness and/or atrophy. Electronic muscle testing may also find the source of un-diagnosed physical problems.  Muscle tests are separated into four test options:  Core Neck and Upper Extremities (5 muscle groups), Expanded Neck and Upper Extremities (19 muscle groups), Core Trunk and Lower Extremities (4 muscle groups), and Expanded Trunk and Lower Extremities (16 muscle groups).  Recessive side strength is compared to dominant side strength.  Three readings per side are required for each muscle group, and the software automatically averages the values.
Input form on left, example page from narrative and graphical report on right.

A hand-held dynamometer is used for this test.

QPAweb Reports
Physicians can perform our non-invasive tests on their patients and generate outcome assessment reports right from their web browsers. These reports demonstrate medical necessity, chart the effects of treatment over time, aid in diagnosis, help provide appropriate treatment plans, and secure patient satisfaction and compliance.
