The Ready to Work Report™
|
The Ready to Work Report™ is an innovative strategy for getting
injured workers back to work quickly and safely.
Our state-of-the-art software uses injured workers’ feedback
to determine the precise job duties they are able to resume at each stage
of their recovery and rehabilitation.
Costs are contained by returning the patient to work sooner,
which saves TD and PD payments, XMOD weighing factors, and
employees’ costs of lost time from work.
The Ready to Work reports serve as foundations for greater
communication between the insurer, the physician, the employer
and the injured worker.

Getting a patient back to work quickly and safely is in everyone’s best
interest. A safe and speedy return to work is vitally important to the
patient, insurers, employers and physicians, but it is also a complicated and
imprecise science that few if any physicians are trained to do. The
Ready to Work Report makes a complicated and inexact procedure more precise,
reliable and consistent for everyone involved. The information gathered and the
report generated can establish an unprecedented platform for communication between
the physicians, insurers, and the injured worker.
The Ready to Work report aids in overcoming the difficult task of
returning an injured worker to work as quickly as possible without
compromising their condition or care.
The Ready to Work application uses patient feedback as recorded on a Job
Activity Questionnaire (pictured top row, left) to establish a
baseline of activities the patient was required to perform to fulfill
the requirements of the job they were hired to do. Then it uses
data from Activity Pain Index Questionnaires (pictured top row, right)
that are administered on a regular basis and that collect the patient’s
current pain experience while performing activities in their daily
lives. By cross-referencing these two data sources, the Ready to
Work Report (pictured middle and bottom rows) uses patient
feedback to create and maintain a transitional work regimen detailing which
job activities can be performed with or without restrictions throughout
the course of the patient’s treatment.
