The following software and settings are needed to operate QPAweb
Browser:
Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher is best for accessing QPAweb. Other browsers may not allow full functionality of the program.
Flash & Acrobat:
Both the Flash plug-in and Adobe Acrobat Reader are required for portions of this site. Both of these programs are free. Use the following links to download and install the programs.
Desktop:
For maximum viewing the desktop setting should be for a screen area
of 1024 by 768 pixels.
Pop-Ups:
Pop-up windows are an integral part of QPAweb’s
functionality. All pop up blockers will need to be
disabled for QPAweb. This can include one or all of
the following; the browser itself will probably have a
pop-up blocker, any toolbar that may have been installed on
the browser, and any software whose sole purpose is
to block pop-ups.
Cookies:
Cookies are used to manage your secure login and access to
data. They are first-party cookies that do not use personally
identifiable information. If your browser is set to block first-party
cookies or if you use internet security software that blocks first-party
cookies, please change the browser or software settings to allow
first-party cookies before logging in. You may, however, retain any
settings that allow blocking of third-party cookies if you
choose to do so.
Refresh:
The web page needs to be set to refresh on each visit.
To set this go to Tools on your browser and click Internet
Options. On the General tab click the Settings button
in the Temporary Internet Files area. Be sure
that “Every Visit to the Page” is checked. Then
click OK and OK again.
Authority:
Each computer that is used to logon to QPAweb will have to have
the above settings. If the computer restricts downloads by the
user or Active X controls, the computer administrator will have to
change the settings. Computers and Network Servers that limit
access to the internet will need to have added to the trusted or
allowed web addresses.
